Korda Heli Safe System

We've been working on a solution to a problem anglers have been facing when fishing with a helicopter setup.
We wanted to find a solution to the problem of remote fishing with a helicopter.

The heavy leads needed for long-distance fishing often become a problem once a fish is hooked.

And this often means that you end up unhooking the fish.
The anglers' question was to have the option of a drop off lead while fishing with a helicopter.

We thus invented the Heli safe system; a system that allows you to lose the lead once the fish is hooked.
The lead clip will release once a fish pulls against the angler.

This system allows you not to lose the lead when you normally retrieve the terminal and cast it again even if some weeds are hooked, but it will ensure that the lead is released only when a fish is attached to the terminal.

The unique design allows the angler to choose when to release the lead, and when to hold it.

In situations where it is not necessary to unload the lead, a small plastic collar (which is supplied in the kit) can be fitted to keep the lead locked in place.
