Korda LongChuck Clear

The new Long Chuck mainline is designed specifically for long range fishing and will add additional yards to your cast compared to a standard mono.

It is extremely elastic to allow for faster compression of the rod blank and, in addition to the fact that it has very low water absorption, it also helps when trying to feel the lead from a distance or in crosswinds.

That low water absorption also helps ensure the line stays light and stays in the air longer, thus helping to reduce drag on the lead during flight, but the most important factor in achieving this is the fact that the line is clear - adding a dye to a mono line increases the weight, as well as altering the molecular structure and creating more stretch, meaning colored lines don't project as far.

Long Chuck also features a high breaking strain to diameter ratio, which significantly reduces both line strength and weight, compared to an equivalent breaking strain: 10 lb is 0.27 mm; 12 lb is 0.30 mm; 15 lb is 0.33 mm; 17 lb is 0.35 mm; and 20 lb is 0.40 mm.
