Fox Slik Bobbin

The Slik Clip is designed to allow you to position your main line in its base, thus securing the clip itself to the line. This distance increases the spool's sensitivity and is very effective when fishing with slack line, as it is impossible for your line to move, even a few mm, without the spool shifting.

Once a pull occurs on your line, it will release from the clip and be free to run through the central section of the Slik Clip, meaning that if the bite turns into a “drop,” your spool will still be attached to the line. Only when you lift your rod off the bite alarm will the spool completely disengage from the line. An additional benefit of the Slik Clip is that the tension is fully adjustable, allowing you to change the diameter of the line used without the clip losing its grip. Alternatively, this clip can also be used in traditional “free-running” mode, leaving the line free to run.

In addition to the Slik Clip, this reel comes complete with a 3” Black Ball Chain, a Slim Head and a Hockey Stick.
