Feeder fishing is a very effective technique for cyprinids and more. It's certainly a much easier approach than carp fishing and can be done in a day.

It's a bottom-based still fishing technique that can also be practiced at long range. The principle is to keep the bait close to the hook, and this is achieved by using a loaded feeder.

As with all other types of fishing, the essential equipment is a rod, reel, a set of small parts to assemble your rigs, leads, hooks, and buckets to hold your bait.
