Designed to fit the body of a size 11 swivel, these weights have been designed to precisely counterbalance a floating bait on your chosen rig.
Ideal for use with Chod, Hinge Stiff and Spinner rigs, they offer a valid alternative to tungsten putty.
Made from pure tungsten, which is much denser than other tungsten-filled rubber products, they have an incredible size-to-weight ratio that helps make the final rig cleaner.
DM Balancing Weights can be used to counterbalance most pop-up baits, particularly useful when using bare Chod rigs, where it can be difficult to get the weight needed to sink the pop-up. They're also quickly interchangeable, making them perfect when trying to critically balance hookbaits. They don't wear out and are reusable, meaning they'll last forever if you don't lose them.
Available in 5 weights (from 0.30 g to 0.50 g) with a number laser engraved on each individual piece to identify the weight, i.e. 0.30 g is labelled as 30. Additionally, a "mixed pack" containing 15 weights (3 of each size) is available.
With the mixed pack, you can try all the weights until you find the perfect one, so you'll use the same size every time for that particular bait.
Did you know? Shrimp are attracted to tungsten, and those who fish in waters where they are present have a nightmare when using tungsten paste.
DM BALANCING WEIGHTS are the perfect solution to this problem as the shrimp cannot dislodge them from the rig.
TIP: These fit ALL Korda size 11 swivels.
We have done everything we can to try and control the tolerance of the Korda size 11 swivels, but sometimes it is difficult to get them fully seated by hand.
It is recommended to use a Krimp Tool to correctly insert the DM BALANCING WEIGHT onto the swivel.
Please note these will not fit size 11 swivels other than Korda as sizes vary.
