The Strongbow has a very popular shape, which we've perfected. The hook shank is slightly bent, but not excessively so. This is essential to avoid damaging the carp's mouth during play. It can be used in a variety of situations and is considered a signature model in the Pole Position hook range.
The combination of a very long, straight point and a slightly bent, but not overly long, shank makes this hook extremely aggressive. The wire used is extra thick to ensure the hook won't bend even under the most difficult circumstances. It's not necessary to extend the shank using an aligner or kicker, but you can use one.
