Cornmeal is made by grinding corn less finely than food-grade corn flour. Carp seem to love all corn products, and cornmeal is certainly no exception. As an inexpensive ingredient, it's popular as a starting ingredient in mixes, as it's also a flour that doesn't cause major digestibility problems.
It can be included in the mix base up to 450g/kg.
