Faster, simpler and lighter – the latest all-in-one bivvy in the EscAPE range offers the same exceptional comfort, quality and weather protection, but in a more compact, portable and modular solution.
From a basic, lightweight setup for quick overnight sessions to a full-featured one for longer, more comfortable stays by the water, the modular nature of the EscAPE FQ1 offers unparalleled customisation, allowing you to tailor your one-man bivvy to your specific needs and preferences.
The bivvy features unique quick-locking elbow joints and a central locking mechanism that allows it to be set up and taken down in seconds.
Our signature 150D HydroX waterproof outer shell provides total weather protection, while the seam-sealed blackout inner lining helps regulate internal temperature, provides privacy and blocks sunlight to promote better sleep.
The interior can be further customized by attaching optional accessory pockets or adjusting the adaptable vents (front, side and rear): these can be left fully or partially open, or replaced with insect-proof mesh panels.
The removable front panel transforms the bivvy from an open ‘brolly’ style structure to a fully enclosed shelter, featuring adjustable front vents, mosquito mesh panels and a clear PVC front window.
Alternatively, you can attach a door panel made entirely of insect-proof mesh to the front for a more open and airy protective covering.
The ultra-resistant zippers, equipped with waterproof protectors, ensure excellent performance in any weather conditions and are easily operated from both inside and outside to adapt to the needs of the moment.
The removable top cover can remain mounted on the bivvy for easy pack down and adds an extra ‘double wall’ layer to optimise thermal regulation – improving thermal efficiency in cold weather and promoting air circulation in warmer weather.
It also helps significantly reduce internal condensation and offers greater weather protection thanks to the protruding visor and drainage channel, which directs water away from the front entrance.
Four magnetic straps on the front of the visor match those on the body of the bivvy, providing convenient and secure rod attachment points. Removable, quick-release storm poles easily attach to the front visor, providing greater structural stability and maximizing entry height.
Multiple integrated adjustment points and a removable tension strap allow you to fine-tune and optimize the mounted structure to your needs.
An ultra-durable PVC groundsheet insulates the shelter from the cold ground, while the fold-down entrance area creates a sheltered space for muddy footwear.
The reinforced anchor points feature coloured indicators which, together with the integrated compass, make it easy to orient the bivvy during pitching.
The carry bag has also been designed with the user in mind: it features dedicated compartments for the poles and adjustable tightening straps for easy and compact disassembly, ensuring everything stays well secured and safe.
