New patented design for the fishing lead clip with tube, which locks and holds the tube inside the clip itself, preventing it from slipping along the line as can happen with other clips.
When using a tube to secure the main line or to protect the sides of the fish, it is essential that it does not move along the line during the fight, otherwise the main line could lift the scales and injure the fish.
The lead clip with tube prevents the tube from slipping along the line. It features a side window that allows access to the inside and allows a locking funnel (shaped like a witch's hat) to be inserted onto the main line, which is then pushed into the tube.
Once the window is repositioned, the pin locks the swivel and the tube in place, preventing the tube from slipping out of the clip. The precise rubber seal at the end allows the lead to detach from the clip if it gets snagged, but unlike other clips, the tube doesn't get dragged along with it.
