Description

Harrison reeds are unique.

Not only do we manufacture fishing rods in the UK, but through our sister company we supply carbon to other manufacturers and are actively involved in carbon fibre research with UK universities.

This gives us a significant technical advantage, allowing us to continually develop new ideas and encouraging us to innovate our work day by day .

Harrison Advanced Rods can be considered the most experienced team of rod builders and rod makers in Europe.

Harrison Rods was founded in 1989 , and the original staff are still with the company, although, as is obvious, we have added more members to the team over the years.
All our rods are designed, built and manufactured in the UK.

Let's talk about AVIATOR

This is our new rod range, featuring medium and long-range models. The tapers are new, the Blanck is thinner, and the 1K finish extends to the eyelet. The 13' Aviator TE is our most powerful rod , designed for the largest European lakes and more experienced match anglers, with a draw weight of 3-5 oz.

The 13" Aviator Plus occupies a spot between distance and action and is becoming one of our best-selling products . Once again, it gives the average angler greater distance, and loads delicately without punishing anything less than perfect timing. More experienced anglers will see even greater distances achieved.
The Aviators were designed to bridge the gap between the Torrix and the Trebuchet Light.

The latest additions are the 12'6 Aviator Plus and 13'"TE, and the Aviator Flex.
The philosophy behind the 12'6, rated at 3 1/2 lb, is to offer an upgrade from the popular Torrix 12'6 TE. It offers a little more power for a little more distance, but with new tapers, no sacrifices in playability, and a 1k weave finish all the way to the tip.

Aviator 13' Plus 2 (new barrel 2022)
The 13' 3 1/2lb Aviator Plus is one of our most versatile and popular blanks combining good distance with playing action, but we knew there was a gap for a more powerful rod in this range and now we've filled it.

The new Aviator 13' Plus 2 (3 3/4lb) has similar power to the 13' Light trebuchet, although the action is slightly faster.

A rod that offers more power is still primarily a fishing rod.

We've incorporated some ideas from the new UFR Trebuchet tip to produce our thinnest, lightest rod in this sweet spot.

The deflection curve below shows the difference in power compared to the 3 1/2lb Plus.

Kigan ZDZSG

These are the brand new Kigan ZDZSG guides. The frame shape and forward-slanted center were designed to prevent line tangles during casting. The Kigan ZDZSG guides are sold as an optional accessory, so if you'd like to install the brand new Kigan ZDZSG, simply let us know when ordering and the price will be €30.00 more per rod.

From January 2020 Harrison also gives you the possibility to customize the rod by fitting a black Alps reel seat (NOT ON THE TE MODEL) at an additional cost of €50.00 or a Carbon reel seat from American Tackle for an additional € 30.00.

In addition to the traditional shortened handle, you can choose the full cork handle and the full srhink handle at an additional cost of €30 for each rod.

American Tackle Vortex and T-Forged guides at no extra cost

Pentalite Titanium American Tackle guides with a surcharge of €140 per rod

.

NOTE:

If indicated as Plus it has a weight of 3.2

If indicated Plus 2 is 3.5 lb.
