Description

Essentially, Harrison has invented a rod that fits between the existing Trebuchet and the TE Torrix in terms of casting power. The Trebuchet 12 ft. is a great casting rod , with many UK anglers saying it's "far too powerful to get the best out of it."

A casting rod must be able to cast a long distance, but to do so, you need to choose the right rod that works in perfect harmony with the caster. The Trebuchet Light Abbreviated was designed as Harrison Rods latest rod to achieve the greatest distance, but to do so, you really need good technique and a lot of power to fully exploit it.

This new, lighter version is aimed at most anglers who want the greatest distance with the least effort, a rod that can work perfectly in symbiosis with the angler.

The secret of the Trebuchet Light Abbreviated from Harrison Custom Rods is the elasticity in the butt , and this makes the rod much more responsive than any other rod on the market.

The changes were not limited to the handle, the tip was also modified compared to the original Trebuchet, not drastically though, because keeping the tip speed as high as possible to maintain maximum distance casting potential was a key point in the design.

The construction uses low resin, high modulus carbon with lightweight carbon panels, plus a 3k weave finish on the lower half.

In addition to the ease of casting, this new rod will also have a little more “playability” when fighting a fish.

Ringing: Std build is Kigan 3D 50mm ring set or new Kigan ZDZSG rings or VORTEX rings
Reel Seat: Fuji DPS 20 reel seat finished with a steel collar on both sides.
Grip: Slim Japanese shrink rubber grip and finished with a steel locking cap.
