Replacement batteries for the MANUOWELL ASSASSIN dinghy (all versions)
Pair of 10 Amp LITHIUM POLYMER batteries (10 Amp x 2)
LITHIUM/LFEPO4 BATTERY MAINTENANCE
- Batteries must be stored in a dry place and never exposed to high temperatures (risk of explosion)
- Batteries must not come into contact with water or humidity.
- In case of prolonged inactivity (over 60 days) the batteries must be stored with a charge state of around 50/70% of the charge (never at zero and never at 100%)
- Avoid running the battery to zero as the cells could be damaged and not accept subsequent charging.
- In case of prolonged inactivity (over 120 days) it is advisable, if possible, to discharge the battery to approximately 30% and then recharge it to approximately 70%.
- During the winter months, low temperatures will cause a normal reduction in battery performance (approximately 10/20%). Ideally, batteries should be stored in environments protected from low temperatures during periods of non-use.
- Charge the batteries to 100% only 3/4 days before use.
Failure to follow these precautions will cause the battery cells to become damaged, reducing performance during use and, in the worst-case scenarios, rendering the battery unusable.
