We're excited to announce that this year we've started adding a biodegradable additive to our baits and tackle, making them truly biodegradable. These products will be introduced in the coming months and will be identified by a round sticker on the front of the packaging.

We believe that, as a leader in carp imitations/coarse baits, it's very important for us to send a strong message by making our baits biodegradable. Trials determined that the baits looked and felt the same as their predecessors, and catch reports also confirmed that their effectiveness had not changed in any way.

Despite the added cost of the additive, we have not increased the recommended price of our products, as we believe the environmental benefits and the positive message we will send far outweigh any financial gain.

Perhaps the best news for us is knowing that our manufacturing waste that ends up in landfill now decomposes within a few years, instead of taking hundreds.

The additive accelerates the biodegradation process up to 200 times. Parts containing it have been shown to biodegrade in landfills, compost, freshwater, and even saltwater. In landfills, for example, most products containing it will biodegrade in less than 3 years.

Biodegradable means the complete breakdown of a product (by microorganisms) into something found in nature.

This product is scientifically proven to completely break down plastic products, increasing the plastic's hydrophilicity and returning it to nature in a short period of time. But don't worry about it breaking down in your tackle box. The product will only begin to biodegrade if lost in the environment or sent to landfill.
