Korda Kaptor Wide Gape

Kaptor Hooks represent a true technological breakthrough. We took the Wide Gape and Kurv Shank hooks and coated them, not just painted them, in PTFE with different colours (weed and gravel) to make them even more camouflaged on the seabed. The ultra-sharp and corrosion-resistant Kaptor point was left natural, because the Korda team, who developed them, had noticed that with an uncoated point the hooks had greater penetration capacity. To keep the point protected, each hook is supplied with a rubber 'kaps'. This measure ensures that the most delicate point of the hook is always protected and remains 100% efficient. Each hook is then inserted into a fixed seat in the custom packaging so as to facilitate its grip. The Kaptor range consists of the Wide Gape and Kurv Shank (also in Barbless versions) in Weed Green and Gravel Brown colours. The colours have been carefully selected to blend in perfectly with the seabed. The Korda team is uniquely positioned to confirm this, thanks to their extensive experience in filming the famous 'Underwater' video series.
