These hooks were developed in collaboration with Japanese hook market leader Gamakatsu and designed by our Pole Position product team. This resulted in hooks that accelerate in strength, design, and above all, sharpness.
The Snagster can be used in almost any situation and is a signature hook pattern within the Pole Position range. The combination of a long, slightly beaked point (with a micro-barb) and a medium-long shank make this hook extremely aggressive. The wire used is very thick to ensure the hook won't bend even under the most challenging circumstances.
This is the ideal hook for river fishing and for fishing near obstacles thanks to its excellent hook hold.
By slightly extending the hook using ready-made kickers or a small piece of heat shrink tubing, it will spin even faster.
