Made to specific market demand, our Kompetition Mono is a high performance monofilament, colored in a bright fluorescent green and designed to offer exceptional visibility even in the most difficult light conditions.
Fluorescent coloration offers numerous practical advantages over traditional clear monofilaments: whether you're fighting a fish on a bright sunny day and struggling to see where your line hits the surface, or tracking your lines in the dark after a new cast.
This high-visibility color is also invaluable when playing fish in low light or darkness, where it's extremely difficult to monitor the line's angle when the fish begins to move sideways. Once in the water, the monofilament remains clearly visible, making it easy to follow its path and distinguish it from other rod lines.
The ratio between breaking load and diameter is excellent: this allows the use of a strong and abrasion-resistant line even for long distance casts, while significantly reducing both friction and overall weight.
In summary, the Kompetition Mono offers balanced performance and easy handling, thanks to a relatively low elasticity and good sinking properties, characteristics that make it an extremely versatile product suitable for any situation.
