One of the fundamental principles of the spinner rig, as the name suggests, is that the hook must be free to rotate and engage in the carp's mouth. The greater the freedom of rotation, the better the chances of a successful hook set; this is precisely the goal of the PTFE Spinner Swivel.
This version is the ideal choice for those who want to reduce the metal components of their spinner rig to a minimum, making the setup less bulky thanks to the elimination of the metal ring usually integrated into the swivel.
This size 11 swivel is designed specifically for this rig and accommodates a variety of leader materials; just like the standard version, the hook can be easily inserted or removed through the open eye ("crook") on the opposite end, which is then covered with a kicker to hold everything securely in place. Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) has one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid material, making it perfect for swivel coatings, reducing friction between the swivel body and the eye.
The XX version is specially designed for use with larger hook sizes, such as sizes 1 and 2. It features a thicker wire than the original version and should be used in combination with the new XL Kickers, designed to fit perfectly on both the open eye and the larger eye of the larger hooks.
They are sold in packs of ten; a version with a ring (Ring Swivel) is also available.
