Korda IQ D Rig

These new IQ-D Rigs are probably the most talked-about rigs in the latest Underwater movies. Not only that, but their inventor, Danny Fairbrass, has used them with great success both at home and abroad in recent seasons. He's constantly made small tweaks to the rig to make it work perfectly, and you can benefit from that because it's now available in a ready-made form.

It must be said that Dan's version of the D-rig can be a little daunting to tie, so we've taken all the complexity out of your fishing with these ready-made, impeccably tied rigs. They're hand-tied to Dan's exacting specifications, right down to the hook knot.

The IQ D rig is a fantastic rig to use for wary carp due to its stiffness and the superb anti-eject properties that the swivel that slides on the large D arrangement offers.

The IQ D rig is perfect for use with boilies and Dan almost always uses it with balanced wafter baits, which sit just above the hook when it is on the lake bed.

Each rig comes with two small tungsten sinkers, inserted at 2/3 and 3/3 of the length of the leader. This small adjustment will ensure your leader adheres to the bottom and will also move the bait away from the lead during the cast, thus ensuring optimal lead placement.

At the other end of the rig is attached via a loop, a number 8 swivel: this means that it can be adapted to all leaders and can also be used with a Kwik Link or QC swivels.
