Rakker captive weights are designed to keep your line firmly anchored to the bottom, close to your rod tip. The perfect solution for locations with boat traffic and other obstacles.

Designed for maximum reliability, the snap-lock system ensures a smooth and secure release, while the ergonomic shape of the reel ensures the lanyard unwinds as the counterweight slides along the main line.

A meter of heavy-duty lead-free leader is spliced to the end of the counterweight to keep the line on the bottom; this significantly reduces tangles, a common problem with traditional tethered systems. Following the lead-free sinking section, a 9-meter high-visibility red UV-reactive line glows under UV light, making it easy to track in low-light conditions.

The reel plate can be attached to the safety flaps, positioned under the horns, or planted in the ground. When it's time to put your gear away, simply rewind the lanyard onto the reel and the counterweight will stow neatly in its slot with the snap-lock for hassle-free storage.
