The Basix Spod/Marker Braid can be used for both feature searching and baiting with a spod/ Spomb .
This floating braid is perfect for use on your marker rod, as it has no stretch, allowing you to better feel your edge on the lake bottom and determine what features are in front of you.
Its small diameter compared to the 30 lb breaking strain makes it very easy to cast and long distances can be achieved with minimal effort.
Due to the breaking strength, you can use it without the need for a shock leader, making it much easier to use and fish. Basix Spod/Marker Braid is made of a tightly woven braid with a silky smooth feel, which also aids casting distance.
It's a subtle camo green color and comes on 200m spools, meaning it's best used with some backup—the size of this spool ensures you're not filling your spool with hundreds of meters of expensive braid that will never see the light of day!
