The TX Extreme Spod Marker is the perfect rod if you do a lot of spodding, especially at long range.
The low weight and powerful butt section helps you generate exceptionally high tip speeds when casting and will withstand the largest spod sizes without being overly stressed.
For use with the float marker, the lightweight blank offers exceptional feel in the hand for accurate detection of underwater features, and the blank features depth marker windings for precision. The high-pressure carbon (HPC) barrel truly puts power in your hands and features a 3K carbon coating up to the 5th guide for added strength.
The casting action is very similar to the Intensity actions of the Tribal carp rods, combining extreme power in the butt, with a responsive tip section for a quicker recovery on the cast.
The result is a great combination for both your spodding and marking needs.
The addition of super lightweight PacBay CSV Minima (braid safe) guides really improves performance and you will immediately notice the rod's responsiveness when using a marker float.
There are two models to choose from depending on your preference: 12-foot and 13-foot. Both are rated at a 5-pound test curve and ensure you have all the power you could want.
