The new Shimano SpeedMaster XTD 14000 carp reel is packed with features for increased durability and performance for targeting carp species and debuts many technologies inherited from premium carp and surf reels. An ultra-stiff CI4+ body reduces flex and provides a lightweight yet solid foundation for the improved cold-forged HAGANE gear mesh for long-lasting smoothness and durability.

The SpeedMaster XTD 14000 incorporates RigidCast technology to resist the impact of extreme casting force by minimizing spool oscillation movement and flexing of the main shaft and body during the initial moments of the cast.

The result: greater casting distance and accuracy.

To create a quieter and smoother reeling experience, Shimano has incorporated SilentDrive technology into the SpeedMaster XTD 14000 to remove unnecessary noise and vibration.
