The new Emblem in the Surfcasting version confirms the winning formula of the previous model, further improving it both in terms of construction quality and look.
Both the body and rotor are made of the innovative ZAION V material: a carbon-based composite material that is lighter and more resistant than traditional materials and completely corrosion-free.
The weight of the new Emblem is in fact reduced by 25 grams compared to the previous generation.
The new 45mm spool is Ultra Longa Cast with Shallow profile (0.30-300m) making it easier to use thin lines to maximise casting distance.
A second Long Cast spool with a larger capacity (0.35 – 300m) is supplied as standard.
The spooling system relies on the proven Slow Cross Wrap technology, the slow spooling with crossed coils that guarantees optimal line collection.
The new Emblem is also equipped with a hollow Air Bail type arch, while the clutch is the new QD, more modulable and precise than the previous standard QD.
Magsealed technology, the special magnetized oil membrane patented by Daiwa , protects the internal mechanics from the corrosive action of salt water, an important feature for prolonged use in
marine environment.
