Equipped with 7 ball bearings, 5 of which with anti-corrosion CRBB technology ( Daiwa patent), the body is built in the innovative Zaion carbon-based material, while the rotor is made of the tried and tested DS5 composite.

The BASIA SURF 45 SCW QD, like all high-end surf reels, is equipped with Magsealed technology to protect the body: a membrane of magnetized oil protects the internal mechanics from exogenous agents, improving the reliability and longevity of the reel.
The clutch, with an extraordinary power of 15kg, is of the Quick Drag type: a technology that allows you to instantly switch from free mode to the desired brake.
