Korda Klor

The Klor hook model was designed and created by Danny Fairbrass to be an aggressive, strong, fast hook with brilliant hooking potential with various types of terminal tackle.

It is incredibly strong and has proven to be suitable for fishing for large carp in extreme conditions, both at home and abroad.

The Klor has a very aggressive shape (even more so than our Kurv Shank hook), with the point in line with the eye, and this makes it turn quickly and hook the carp's mouth.

Thanks to the aggressive curvature of the shank and the inward-facing eyelet, kickers or heat-shrink tubing can be dispensed with.

It is suitable for use with soft leaders, sheathed braid (if you remove the sheath near the hook) and for the Combi rig.

The long, ultra-sharp, and slightly curved point ensures the best possible hook set. The hook point is also less likely to be damaged by nuisance species, such as shrimp and small fish, which move the bait to the bottom, especially when fishing over gravel.

The wire is thick, and this translates into a very strong hook that can be used in extreme conditions with weeds or snags, even when using braid, without fear of it straightening.

During testing, Danny caught carp weighing over 60 pounds in snag-filled French waters. Despite the thickness of the wire, the point is still very sharp, and the barb holds the hook in place once it's set.
