The Strongbow has a very popular shape, which we've perfected. The shank is slightly bent, but not too much. This is the secret to ensuring the carp's mouth isn't damaged during the fight.
It can be used in many situations and can be seen as a distinctive hook pattern within the Pole Position hook range.
The combination of a very long, straight point (with a micro barb) and a slightly bent, short shank makes this hook extremely penetrating. The wire used is very thick to ensure the hook doesn't open even under the most difficult circumstances. Extending the shank using a line aligner is not necessary, but can be used.
