The BASIX Mainline is an all-purpose line that offers fantastic value for money, with a very high level of performance.
It's very abrasion-resistant and tough, but it also casts well and has good knot strength. It has a relatively low stretch, which helps when it comes to feeling the lead on the bottom.
This line is 'camouflage green' in color, which means it blends in very well with any lake bottom.
The MAINLINE BASIX is available in 12lb or 15lb, covering most carp fishing situations, and is supplied with 500m or 1,000m spools, so if you have smaller capacity reels or only use two, then there is no need to buy a larger spool than you actually need to fill them.
