Korda - Krimping Tool Large

Crimping is an excellent method for achieving precise and strong connections, especially when using stiffer and/or thicker materials that are difficult to knot effectively. It also allows you to always achieve the correct length of the leader, which is particularly useful for chod rigs.

Our crimping tools are available in two sizes: large and mini. Both are specifically designed for use with the three crimp sizes we sell. The jaws are marked XS, S, and L to indicate the correct slot for each size.

As long as the crimps are matched to the appropriate terminal diameter, our crimping tools will allow you to create perfect connections every time. They are made of mild steel with rubberized handles to ensure a firm grip and the right amount of pressure to apply to the crimp. They also feature a wire cutter integrated into the jaws, useful for constructing terminals.

The Mini Krimp Tool is very compact, so it fits easily in your toolbox or similar, yet still provides enough leverage to achieve a perfect crimp every time. The larger version is designed for those who prefer a more visible and easy-to-grip tool. Both are very sturdy and will allow you to crimp efficiently every time.

All our Krimps are sold separately and are available in sizes 0.5, 0.6, and 0.7 mm, compatible with all versions of our Boom Hooklink material. Chod Krimps are available in sizes 0.5 and 0.6 mm and are compatible with our Mouth Trap Hooklink.
