Solar P1 Croc Pod

As usual, it is easy to recognize the ' Solar ' hardware from 10 steps.
Using the advanced machining capabilities and precision of 3D CAD technology, we were able to completely redesign this iconic “ground-level” pod, starting from the original version introduced in the 1990s.
We’ve retained some of the most popular features, such as the World Wide Style Independent Leg Angle Adjustment System (ILAS), and added not only double main bars for increased rigidity and single uprights for a stronger frame, but also wider front and rear bars and external leg mounts, giving the new ‘CROC’ unparalleled stability, so much so that it’s already being hailed as one of the most stable pods in the world, cementing Solar ’s dominance of the tackle market.
As the name suggests, it can be used as a ground level setup, but as with all our Pod range, we recognise the need to cover all fishing situations.
The P1 CROC features new semi-quick fittings with 3/8 BSF thread on the new Stubby feet (supplied), which fix to the outer ends of the deck bars, allowing quick and easy attachment of these, or your required longer legs/fishing poles in any terrain, further increasing the adaptability of the setup.
The aesthetic design of the accessories and gear is instantly recognizable; not only do they look futuristic, but the 'Super Grip' attachments make it easy to adjust and lock each part into place, even in the coldest and wettest conditions.
The CROC is a high performance, precision engineered piece of equipment, designed and built entirely in the UK to the exacting standards that anglers have come to expect from Solar Tackle hardware.
