Simply push the tip of the screw into the bait and rotate it clockwise while maintaining pressure until the base of the screw contacts the bait.
Overtightening will risk the lure crumbling and coming off the screw. PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) coating is a synthetic polymer with one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid.
