The Spinner Ring Swivel was designed specifically for use with spinner rigs and eliminates the need to settle for other types of swivels that are not made for that purpose.
Previously, using a spinner rig often involved using a pair of pliers to open a QC swivel or similar and fit the hook onto it, but these have a crooked-shaped opening that the hook can easily be slipped onto, and then a piece of heat shrink tubing or Kicker is used to cover the connection and keep everything in place and at a right angle.
This size 11 swivel also helps create very neat rotating arm sections, with the ring at the other end giving plenty of movement and allowing you to either crimp tightly, or if you're using more flexible materials that are tied directly to the ring.
The XX version is specifically designed for use with larger hook sizes such as 1s and 2s. They have a thicker wire gauge than the original version and should be used in conjunction with the new XL Kickers, which will fit comfortably over the larger hook and eye of the larger hook.
They are sold in packs of ten and a version without a ring is also available.
